Xiaomi Mi A2 - The new Nexus era?

One year later, Xiaomi launched the second iteration of Mi A series in Madrid, Spain and it followed Google's footstep by releasing dual model - Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite. Just a simple introduction of its counterpart in China as Mi A2 is Mi 6X while Mi A2 Lite is Redmi 6 Pro. Mi A2 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC chipset and comes in three variants - 32GB or 64GB with 4GB RAM and 128GB with 6GB RAM, a user non-removable 3,010 mha battery with supported Quick Charge 3.0 via USB C port, dual rear camera setup which is a huge upgrade over its previous generation. No 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD slot on Mi A2. On my review unit is the 64GB variant and out of the box a whopping 24% was used (~15GB). Xiaomi announced the latest iteration of Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite like what Google did with Pixel lineup at Madrid, Spain (24 July). Xiaomi Mi A2 is upper mid-range with 5.99 inch IPS LCD with featured 18:9 aspect ratio (2,160 x 1,080-pixel resolution) while Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is a 5.84-inch FHD+ 19:9 aspect ratio, 2,280 x 1,080-pixel resolution with a notch. Both phones are the re-branded of China's counterpart, Mi A2 is Mi 6X while Mi A2 Lite is Redmi 6 Pro. Xiaomi Mi A2 Mi A2 equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with three models - 32GB or 64GB onboard storage with 4GB RAM or 128GB onboard storage with 6GB RAM and non-removable 3,010mAh battery with a Quick Charge 3.0 enabled via USB C port.
