2019 seems like Xiaomi seems to want be the first to release newly launched products such as the processors and camera sensors. They launched 48MP on the Redmi Note 7 follow by 64MP on the recently launched Redmi Note 8 Pro and finally 108MP on the Mi Note 10 / 10 Pro aka Mi 9 CC Pro in China counterpart.
In layman terms, the sensor combines blocks of four pixels (27MP ea) into one (108MP).
The box contents come with a 30W charger, USB C charging cable and a clear jelly casing.
Mi Note 10 equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G similar to OPPO Reno2 as benefits more on gaming and power efficiency. The phone comes in two variants - 128GB onboard storage with 6GB of RAM and 7P Lens while the 'Pro' model still using the same SDM730G but 256GB onboard storage with 8GB of RAM and 8P Lens. The difference of lens, in theory, is to capture more lights.
Mi Note 10 comes not Quad camera but Penta camera (e.g Nokia 9) and here's the breakdown for rear cameras setup:
Image quality was rather also inconsistent when it looks good it’s okay when it looks nay it does looks unpleasant. Colour accuracy was off. Perhaps the reason probably might be the lens isn't tuned along with the software. Hopefully, software fix might help and improve the experience.

Both variants do not support microSD slot and built-in a gigantic battery size of 5,260mAh. The good thing was that the battery lift was amazing as I could easily use up to 2 days without charging with moderate usage with minimal gaming.
The Mi Note 10 features a 6.47" 3D Curved AMOLED display with a teardrop notch houses a selfie camera and In-display fingerprint sensor was fast and accurate seems an improvement over it existed lineup.
Verdict? Xiaomi seems like to be the ‘first to launch but does not provide a pleasant experience’ to its users. Although the camera is the only unique selling point also it’s a weakness as the camera suffered from slowness in various scenarios.
Would I have to recommend to my friend with this phone? Probably a nay if using it as a key driver but a yes to photography enthusiast that wonders how mobile photography evolved.
At the price tag of SGD$699 for the regular Mi Note is 10, it’s hard to choose when Mi 9T Pro offered as a flagship and probably cheaper by this time.

During my experience on the Mi Note 10 wasn’t a pleasant experience as my unit suffered from slowness in terms of image processing in the normal taking mode which took 2 seconds while in 108MP mode took rather 5 seconds. I also noticed when switch mode to mode, a lag time of a second was observed.
Take a look on the time it took to processing a normal shot which I unable interact with the application while it processing.
and.... in 108MP mode which normally takes 3~5 seconds to process...
